Welcome aboard! This site is dedicated to information about the common and not so common vessels of the United Federation of Planets Starfleet. You won't find many pictures here, and you certainly won't find any sounds or movies, but you will find a lot of good, solid data (and some speculation - clearly marked as such - that I hope you find interesting).
January 2004 Whoops I deleted the home page and the new version still isn't ready. This is a temporary home page that knowing my luck will still be up here in a year's time.
Most pages will take roughly the same format, a short introductory piece outlining what I have been able to deduce about the classes history and mission profile. Then a list of the sub-classes (if any) with in service dates and numbers built (if known). The main bulk of the page is then a listing of the known vessels of that class, in registry order, complete with histories and references. The codes used in the references are as follows:
Many of the very common class illustrations found on this site (and hundreds of others around the web) were originally created by John T. Moltz.
A brief list of some of the people who (knowingly or otherwise) have helped me collect the information and formulate the ideas that make this site what it is (in no particular order). Timo Saloniemi, Jonah Rapp, Jack Bohn, Alex Rosenzweig, Ryan McReynolds, Brian Barjenbruch, Bernd Schneider, Lance Nutter, Boris S., Graham Kennedy, Ken Justan and many more. I'll add the names when I can remember them.
