Thats what I miss now I walk to work, the weird overheard stuff on the bus. A good writer could get a decent sixty minute TV play out of three lines like that.
Oh yes, the rest of the conversation included debt, suicide and a Joan Crawford (maybe, couldn’t quite make it out) signature!
With those extra bits I don’t think you need a good writer just a brave one someone at the BBC deciding that a series of one off 60 minute plays by new writers would work on BBC 3 or 4 🙂
